I was just exposed to a super loud bang inside a car. My own voice now sounds like it's underwater or from a broken speaker. It's strange - if I whistle, it sound like I'm faintly playing a flute. It seems to be getting a bit better after a few hours, but I was really worried about it a first. Especially because I have only one ear; my hearing in the other ear was lost in a car accident many years ago. I've heard screamingly loud ringing in the one good ear for a long time...doesn't seem to be getting worse now, thank God.

: It is important to treat trauma to the ear as soon as possible. It can become harmful for you. I think you should consult with a professional doctor which can surely protect your ear from further damage. Thanks!
