Jan 1 2009, I stood up at work from putting some tags on shoes, and all the feeling was gone in my lower body causing me to fall face forward on to boxes catching my body wright on my right knee and both hands, After a MRI, I have been diagnosed with a small torn disc, not requireing surgery, and tendonitus in my right hand and elbo, bursitus on my right leg, after therapy alot of pills, I have constant pain and i limp some days more than others. i have alot of pain in my right leg and back but now it seems like it spread all over my body, I have heart palptations, and other symptoms. My back doctor claims I should be healed by now. But Im not so i paid out of my pocket to get tested for fibromialgia, Turns out I do have it !! So my question is did my back injury the torn disc cause the fibromialgia? my workmans comp might try to blame all this on my fibromialgia? thanks

i think work comp will try to blame it on anything so they dont have to pay. However if you have a health condition that you can not help or prevent and you injure yourself at work it should be covered by work comp no matter what! I'm dealing with the same thing right now i have a bulging t-6 and t-7 disc my doctor seems to think its the fibro that keeps causing pain and nerve pain down my left leg i beg the differ and got an attorney maybe you should also concider. good luck with everything
