Hi All,

I am having Lesions on tongue for over an year. It causes me terrible pain when I have something hot or spicy. Please advise me from the images below under what category this can be classified so that I could take proper care to get rid of this problem.

Thanks
Sidz

Do you have dentures or smoke? Or do you rub your tongue on your teeth a lot? My dad had one removed last year and it was nothing, just a sort of ulcer. The vast majority are nothing.

Hi Jude,

I was a casual smoker and I quit recently. I dont have any
dentures. Can you please suggest steps to cure this problem.
I am just worried if this falls under any category like hairy
tongue etc.

Thanks
Sidz

I honestly couldn't tell you. My dad had just one small one and they did a biopsy and got rid of it. Have you tried brushing it a few times a day?

I would just see a dentist.
