My four year old son was diagnosed with erythema infectiosum or fifths disease. He has a reddish rash on his face. Me and my daughter who is one weren't home for a month and when we came back i found out about my son. I know that this disease is infectious and can be transmitted. But I have read somewhere that it can't be transmitted if the Rash is already developed. Can my daughter be infected too ? She was near my son after he developed a Rash. Dose someone now anything about this disease ?
Thanks
