Please read and give me some ideas of what you all think may be going on with me.
I am not asking for you to give me a medical description on what the underlying problem is.
I am just looking for anyone that has been through what i am going through.

I have had this sever lower abdominal pain for more then a year now.
The pain comes once in a while. Either with allot of masturbation or allot of sex
[If i insert a finger and push up on the walls, i feel this very intense pain]
It almost feels as if, my insides are bruised and sore and swollen]
But is this a normal pain?
I've been to the Dr's already and have had a pap done and everything came back normal but i wouldn't think this pain is normal.
[I am unable to have sex because the pain is too intense]
Has someone been through something like this or know of what could be the issue?
I am terrified that something may be terribly wrong with me.
Please give me some insight on what you think may be going on with me.
Id very much appreciate it.
Thank you!!

If you are in that much pain I would strongly suggest getting a second opinion. Or maybe when you went to the doctor before it was too early to detect anything? Sorry I couldn't be much help....let us know how it goes.

Pain With Sex
i have had pain with sex all my life especially with an orgazium. My gynie told my that 10% of women have this pain and there is nothing they can do. He suggested trying different positions and taking a pain killer about half an hour before sex or materbation. For me it feels like someone one is taking a knife and raking it straight across my plevic floor. and some times the only way the pain eases for me is to have a hot hot bath. Also he told me to pee before and after sex it may help to it eases my a tic but not enough. Sometimes I have had to go to the Er for pain control as nothing has helped and have been in very seveer pain for hours and hours. I did have a surgery 2000 for endometrious and they found it and cotorized it and after that the pain was bareable for a while then I got pregant and after I had my twins the put in an iud and that seemed to ease the pain alot. since 2005 I have had an iud in and have almost no pain on occasion I have. I had the iud taken out last weekend for other reasons and pelvic pain is back. It also inceases my pain down there when my husband is ejaculating inside me and he is still all the way inside. Now he pulls out or just stops moving so he will not hurt me. I hope some of this is helpful to you. Oh i almost forgot before I got pregant my doctor was going to put me in to drug induced menopause to see if that helped then the plan was that after i had children if i wanted he would take everything out uterus ovaries the whole kit and kabotle. that doctor of mine now lives in Nova Scotia so not my doctor anymore. I have some other coping things that I do after sex to ease pain if you need help with that just let me know

Thanks For the Responses!!!!
Thank you so much for responding.
I am glad to know that i am not alone.
To the description;
["Taking a knife and raking it straight across my pelvic floor"]
That's exactly how i feel.
Its a similar feeling as if you've done way too many crunches.
[Except in this case, its not my tummy muscles that feel this way. Its my insides]
I am panning on going to the Docs. just for an over all check up and i am going to bring this to his attention.
Keep your fingers crossed that it is nothing serious! Confused Sad

good luck with your doc's. but If it is the same as mine they will most likely not find anything. They will tell you nothing is wrong or that 10% of women get to exprience this pain for the est of our lives. I am that 10%. With me I am that 10% in everything.lol .let me know what your doctor says. take care until then.

Another Question For You. I Want It to Go Away!!!!!
Alright well another similiar question for you.
The pain, is it all across your lower tummy area or sometimes does it switch off from sides to sides?
I just tried a little masturbaton
[to see if the pain was still as intense or if its disapeard]
and now the pain is on my lower right hand side.
[It feels like someone is squeezing my insides together???
I havent had sex for about a week now
Why is this pain still there?
Ughhh Sad Confused

yes for me too it can go from side to side or right across and usually lasts 5 or 6 hours sometimes shorter and rarelly longer. As I have found different things to try and ease the pain like a hot bath when I say hot mean I get in when water is warm the turn off cold completely and let it run until tub is full the just sit there for awhile until it starts to ease up it water gets to cold again I let some out and add more hot water. I take some t3's before sex it does not help much buut little. I have no idea why this happens to me or you. I do not masterbate anymore just not worth the pain sex well that I feel is worth some pain.Altough sometimes I just do not want sex with my husband because I know I will be in agony after. My husband feels like he is the one who hurt me and he is not. Have you encountered this part of your pelvic pain during sex. My ex husband refused to have sex with me after a few times of this hence the reason among others he is my ex husband.
I wish I had a solution for you all I can tell you is my gynie said 10% of women expiernce pain during sex, masterbation, after an orgazium. Do you find the pain worse if you climax. I do so I try hard not to get that into the love making but that rarely works I enjoy sex too much. LOL
Have you had a ultrasound? it could be an ovaryin cysts.
