My husband is 39 and had a tkr 2 weeks ago. He is still in a lot of pain with meds every 4 hours. He is still on a walker and isn't sleeping only 1-2 hour intervals at night. When does this get better?

It can take several months for most of the pain to subside. Sometimes even longer. Think about what they are doing (cutting open all the soft tissue and sawing off part of the bone)

hang in there, he will improve
