Back in 2001 I had a Gall Stone stuck in my bile duct. I let this go on for months not knowing why I had so much pain. In a nut shell, I spent two months in the hospital. I developed Pancreatitis. My gallbladder could not be removed until the swelling in all my organs went down. My gallbladder was finally taken out a couple of weeks after coming home from the hospital and being on antibotics. My question is, Do I still have pancreatitis, since I had acute pancreatits once? Can I drink alcohol? I have been drinking since then, 7 glasses of wine a night. Should I be doing this or am I risking my health?

it is possible that pancreatitus can return because acute can do damage which can bring on chronic pancreatitus however you have gone sometime with put and attack but yes 7 glasses of wine a night is a little much you may want to cut back.
