I still can't get this damn thing to work. I got as far as highlighting and pasting the url, then I pressed sumit. What else an I supposed to do.

Depends what link your putting it it. There are 3 link boxes, put it in the one that says offsite url and make sure its not too big of a pic

Means you almost got it, try putting it in a different box. Get a sample oic from yahoo greetings, the little pics and put it in the offsite one. It should work

Ok get a pic from yahoo greetings, they have little pics and right click, go to properties, you will see url address or something, copy that then paste it in the box thats says
link to off-site avatar:
enter the url of the location containing the avatar
image you wish to link to.
After that, then hit submit. It should work. Get a small sample pic first. And try it
