This is my second month on Loestrin and i did not get my period. I am sexually active, but after a couple of NOT PREGNANT tests, i am not sure what is going on with my body. I have been on previous pills before, but always got some type of period. Is this common? How accuarate are the pregnancy tests?

I have been on Loestrin 24 Fe for about 9 months now and have had similiar consequences. I've never completely NOT gotten my period, but some months its been down to only dark spotting. As you, I'm sexually active and would get nervous. I contacted my gyno and she after realizing that I was NOT pregnant, she said to try it out for at least 6 months( apparently that is how long it takes for the average birth control pill to adjust to your body). Don't be afraid to consult with your gyno or local clinic for further discussion of this pill, it just might not be the right one for you!

Best of luck!
