Q: Try-cyclen Lo

Hello,
I started try-cyclen lo two weeks ago. However, I just got my period on Sunday even though I'm not done with the pack (I have one more week to go). I don't like this pill as it has made me very moody and I don't want to be on this or any other kind of pcp. Can anyone tell me if it's okay for me to just stop taking the remaining pills since I already got my period? Also, If I just finish the pack, will I get another period?
Thanks!

You need to continue with your pills as directed. It can be normal when starting a birth control pill to have unusual bleeding and other unwanted side effects while your body adjusts to it. You really need to give a particular pill a full three months to see how your body does with it. Jumping to a different pill so quickly is not a good idea. You may get a period when you are on the inactive pills.
