I heard that a women always gets her period 14 days after ovualtion. Is this always true?

No. Many women do not have the typical, perfect, 28 day cycle with ovulation occurring at day 14. That means we could ovulate any time, before, during, or after our period.

No that is not always the case. I personally get my period 12 days after ovulation. It is different for each woman.

no women typically ovulate approx 14 days before their period.

this does work out at around day 14 for an average 28 day cycle.

however it can vary significantly between women - some ovulate early and others ovulate late and of course not every one has a perfect 28 day cycle either.

The important thing to remember is that ovulation occurs before (not after) your period.
