Q: Throat Problems?

I have a "golfball in the throat, or food caught in the throat" sort of sensation that does not go away. I went to my doctor who ran a couple of tests on my thyroid (THS, 4T, 3T and anti thyroid chromosomal antibody) that all came back normal. He did say that there was something there after he ran a tube down my throat to get a better look, which is why he ran the tests. Now that my results have come back normal he says that there is nothing else that we need to do. I still have this problem and need to know if there is somethng else that can be done; maybe get a second opinion? He has prescribed to me some reflux medication twice a day and anti-anxiety medication that I can only take at night. What is wrong with my throat and what else can I do?

Maybe Check Out Tight Throat Forum
I've had the same thing for about a year and no one would do anyting for me! I've had 2 scopes and a ultra sound all comeback negative but i still feel a major lump. I found this forum when i searched anxiety and lump in throat on google because some doctors said it was just my anxiety. I am 21 and convinced i have cancer! Today i had an MRI (after a year of begging!) so i will let you know how it went to hopefully ease your mind.
