Are all christians pro-life ? I don't think so. I'm a Christian but I'm pro-life for me and pro-choice for others. I think that God gave us a free will to decide what is best for us and our souls. He gave us instructions how to behave and also gave us free will to do what ever we want. It's not right to tell other people what to do. It's not your business people. It's the best for your souls to get rid of the rage and leave the other to do what they want and it's time for you to watch in front of your houses and not the others.

I totally hear you! In the name of democracy just leave it alone, and mind your own business. Stop telling people to have children they dont want, we are producing spoiled, twisted generations, that just want to get wasted, get laid and play video games. This planet is overcrowded already and control of population is a process that is going to take place sooner or later. We seriously have to question our moral standards and tighten up the boundaries so that unwanted pregnancies doesnt happen or put to a minimum in a first place . Pro lifers your philosophy on a big scale implicates that you need to organize in huge communities join your funds and live as one big happy family (that has happened in the past and failed as a social occurance ) which in other hand is defragmenting the conventional family which is the cell and basis of all the western and most of the worlds societies. And thats how it is plain and simple. Mods do not censor or delete this post, move it if necessary I'm just quoting and expressing my opinion on the matter.

The faith, church, and god have nothing to do with this, as not everyone on the planet is christian. Thus, you cannot apply christian morals to an issue that affects non-christian people.

As for the life that is being taken away, abortion is often done to prevent a painful, poor life.

How in the world would any of us really know "what 'god' wants"? Are we so egomaniacal that we could assume to know what "god" is? Ridiculous.

As far as Christian faith, I was taught that God is a loving God that does not judge or condemn poeple with good intentions about their life and their future. Most pro-life people JUST assumes that their point of views are supported by God.

Actually the Christian book (BIBLE) was silent about abortion.

I wish all of the relgious, preachy, pro-lifers would put thier pocket books where their opinions are and start supporting the single mothers, the abandoned, abused and neglected children in foster care system and the countless outreach programs struggling for financial support that are day after day the ones to care for the children that didn't ask to be born and are forced to regret their very existence. I am absolutly offended by people that want to hold a sign and spread "thier" message and yet cross the street to avoid a foster child with out stretched hand and a dirty pair of shoes. Everyone has a right to an opionion but if you want to preach from ignorance then there should be a law to protect us from that before there is a law to ban medical abortions. Sorry.... this should probably be its own forum but I had an itch I needed to scratch. Be strong ladies....

Actually, a more accurate statement is "societies run by men where women were nothing more than household appliances hated the idea of abortion since it removed potential heirs". That would be your beloved Roman and Greek societies.

i wouldnt want an unwanted child. its no good for the child or you. thats mostly the reason for child abuse i guess...

christians are made to live with fear that abortion = killing. its just how they're raised to think.
