Surely they will have to give you an induction date, your practically full term now right??

It does get easier when you have a date as you know what your aiming for and unlike a due date you know baby will definitely be with you on or just after that date!! Smile

im over 39 weeks now. my due date is saturday, but the hospital is over crowded and so they are really stingy about setting dates. usually there is a 2 week waiting list and you can be pushed back on that very easily. my baby is already measuring pretty big (9 lbs plus) so i just want to do whats best for her, and i dont think going over my due date is in her best interest.
im hoping all goes well this morning..
im bringing in my mom who is very assertive with doctors.. i still have that respect your elders mentality when it comes to them, i just want to listen and do what im told lol.
i have a hard time sticking up for myself with them

I am surprised anyone at your hospital ever gets to be induced, it sounds to me like they're just happy to leave you all the time! Twisted Evil
I must admit doctors can be pretty intimidating!!(sp? I seem to have lost the ability to spell during this pregnancy!)
You got to love mums they're always the best people to have around!!

that's a horrible dream! i hate when i have dreams like that. they leave you feeling...unsettled all day long. i had one where my husband kil!ed himself and his family blamed me for it and were trying to kil! me. I won't get into gory details. it still kind of upsets me. i wonder why people have dreams like that...

At least you get to see your own doctor this week! Mine is off on Vacation.. GRRRRRR. So I am seeing whoever is filling in for her. I am not impressed, but what can I do? Hopefully she left instructions for them to set induction for next week since she told me she wasn't going to let me go over 41 wks. I have my planning score scheduled for tomorrow, which I hope I can change to Wednesday as I am so tired of driving into the hospital 2 times a week.

Glad to hear that you are at least feeling better .Vanessa, when you feel well everything seems right in the world at this point in our pregnancies haha.... well almost right!

Eww about the dream! I have been having some crazy dreams too and they usually involve blood.

Have you guys had the weird dreams where the baby pops out of your stomach and makes a hole in your belly? I get that one all the time. They sorta freak me out.

I am with you on the hormone thing too .Vanessa. I think that my dh is about to go insane with all the mood swings that I am going through. I am trying to get it under control before I get even further along.

I've had several dreams with my husband trying to kill me. What the heck do these dreams mean?????? A couple of them have been very upsetting and have really freaked me out. That's one thing I definitely won't miss about pregnancy!!
