Q: Genital Warts Putting An End to My Sex Life?

Hi

I realised yesterday that I had developed what appeared to be genital warts, had them checked today and have been diagnosed. Because they are only small the Dr has said it is up to me whether I get treatment, as they are likely to clear up by themselves with time. My question is this: In a months time I am traveling from New Zealand to the United States for my big OE. Like any young man, I was hoping for this trip to filled with romance and beautiful women. If I get rid of the the warts and use a condom, is it reasonable for me to have sex? Is this usual for people with HPV? Or do I need to tell any potential sexual partner for the rest of my life that I have this condition? A pretty grim prospect.

Any advice/help with this would be really really appreciated.

Cheers.

You should always tell potential partners before anything goes on. Condoms help protect your partner from STDs, but they are not 100% effective.
