Hello I had went to the doctors for my yearly exam and came back positive for chlamydia I was tested for all other things as well and all was negative except for the chlamydia. I was treated and then retested for chlamydia it to came back positive again. I was then given doxycycline 100 meg 2 a day and again I have retested with positive results even still. I am sick I know I havent been having sex since it had been found the first time seriously and the doctors are giving me weird looks and wondering why I have a chlamydia that wont depart. I have no other stds, negative for hiv and I dont know what to do here. I have been treated with zithromax and doxycycline so I am lost here and really going through hell with this. Is there anything to be done here?
