Hello everyone :d
i read a report today which said that britain has the highest teen pregnancy rates in europe despite the fact that millions of government funds are being spend on educating teens about contraception.

I just thought this was interesting

Teens can be very headstrong at times...Not that that is a bad thing.

Open Your Eyes
I do realize that there are some teens out there who want to have children and may actually plan the pregnancy. However, I also know that the overwhelming majority of teen pregnancies are unplanned and that in this society, a lot of teens don't really know what they want. In response to the article, the fact that great britain has the highest rate of teen pregnancies in europe is a merely a statistic that can change rapidly. Open up your eyes, most of these teens made a huge mistake in getting pregnant....When you said something along the lines of -it goes to show that when a teen wants a baby she'll have one- I cannot help but shake my head. I don't mean to come off as cold, but how could you assume that these teens want to have children? The article shows that an increasing number of teens in great britain ( and the world) are being careless and immature. All I can do is hope that someone reading this article will realize that having a kid is no joke. Being a teen means that you have an entire life ahead of you, so don't rush into things. Get birth control pills and use condoms correctly every time. Educate yourself....It's not fair to bring life to an individual as helpless as a baby when your not ready. And even if you think you are ready and you're a teen, you really aren't. Believe me

By the way, I have nothing against you sparklie. It's just that I feel really strongly about this topic, so my passion may have made it seem like i'm angry. I'm angry at the carelessness of some people, not at you.

Yes u do seem angry so chill out.I was merely stating the fact that I read this article & didnt expect the post that came from you.
I dont need to open my blummin eyes-i am not planning a baby! I dont know why you think I do.U dont even know me! I am a teen yes but I am studying a degree to become a teacher & plan to marry my long term boyfriend before before having a family. This is just what I want for me & some ppl dont want that but thats their choice I think.
I know that some girls plan & others dont-that is their choice
