Sore Throat That Won't Go Away Posted: 07-08-07 18:27pm


Periodically I have a severe sore throat that burns. May throat will be red and my nodes may/may not swell but I have no other symptoms. I had my tonsils removed when I was 19. The doctors don't seem to know what is causing it. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas? They've tested me for strep but aside from giving me antibiotics which helps for a few weeks they can't do anything.
