.Welcome! I'm Brandi. I am 24 and just got married in May. I am a nursing student and my husband is an iron worker. We are trying to conceive as well. Are you just having a lot of sex or are you charting your fertility signs?

I am not currently on any fertility medication, my .O.B did mention it as a possibility however because I have ovarian cysts. This is our fourth cycle actually because we tried for two months after I had surgery to remove an ovarian tumor, then stopped because I was afraid planning the wedding was too high stress to deal with that.

I am charting my .B.B.T and my cervical fluid and I have confirmed ovulation this month, so I'm going to keep trying until after .Christmas before I decide to go on any meds.

Hi eb, my name is heather. dh and I are trying for our first. Just temping and using opk for now. I am going to give it another 6 months and then ask the doctor for some meds if we don't get pregnant by then.

You should also come over to the getting pregnant forum. there are lots of really nice girls to talk to over there and we are all trying to conceive.

Hi there,

I'm new and also ttc with my husband. We kind of took a break because I think we both were getting frustrated. I was keeping an ovulation calender for a while, but found myself getting saddened when my period reared her ugly head! Smile

I think it was affecting my sex drive, but I'm more determined than ever.

Has anyone heard if taking pre natal vitamins help?

Yes prenatals are definitely a good idea. My doctor put me on them about 3 months before we started to try.

Hi, I just joined tonight to see what everyone else is going thru. I have been ttc for a few years off & on. Took the approach that if it happened it happened, but I am now getting more serious since it has'nt happened. I have been tested for a lot of things and really the only thing my doctor says is my progesterone level is low. Don't know where it went since my first 2 were very easy. My husband and I would like to try one more time for a little girl. I have been researching and narrowed my selections to ovulex or clomid. I just ordered the clomid and hope to start in about 2 weeks.

Where do you live? I was unaware that you were able to order clomid through the mail. I thought you needed a prescription for that.
I know that you can order ovulex through the mail. Let us know where you ordered it from...

I live in Florida. Yeah, it can be ordered online w/o a scrip. I was kind of scared to do it though because I don't know if they will send it or not. The site is my-pharmacy something. I will have to look it up. My insurance doesn't cover it anyway so it isn't like I would get it cheaper with a scrip. For 10 50 mg pills with express shipping was only $60. My doctors are giving me the your to fat thing. I have lost 40 pounds and everytime it is well just lose a little more and we will talk about the clomid. Time is ticking for me. I have been researching to find out what directions to use because they say on the online ordering that they do not provide instructions for use. When I get them, I plan on telling the doctor, okay I have them now what so hopefully they will advise me.

I hope that I am using this reply process correctly, it is a bit confusing.

Do you have a lot of side effects from the clomid? I see that you have been taking it for the last 3 months. Can you recommend a otk that isn't so difficult to read results. I swear the 2 lines always look the same to me. This can be so stressful. I wish you luck, maybe this will be the month for you. Most of the research I have completed says preg will normally occur within 3 months.
