I am 9 weeks along now and I just have a tiny bit of bloating or whatever you wanna call it. I'm not sure when I will start showing.

I didn't start showing until about 31 weeks.. but I'm 6ft tall & I had a very small baby.. so even at 37 weeks I barely looked pregnant. Everyone is different.

well i personally wouldn't try to hide it... she can help you with alot of things and all the questions. and even if you just got pregnant today you'll more than likely start showing before your birthday. but on to the answer of your question...

i started showing around 23-24 weeks

Well the thing was I had an abortion May 10th. I was 8 weeks and 6 days, and wasn't showing at all. I don't know if that means anything or not. I can't tell my mom right now. She is so strung out on dope that if I don't even shut a door behind me she will freak out. I stay with my grandma during the week and my moms on the weekends, so I have the chance to go to the doctor if I want.

She told me if I got pregnant again that I would have to go live with my mom which I can't do.

If you're looking for abortion advice, you need to go to the medical abortion forums located further down the ehealth list. We don't discuss abortion here.

If you want to keep this baby, that's another story.

Just a curious question, but did you use birth control this time around?

I am not looking for abortion advice. I DO want to keep this baby. I used birth control for a month, but it made me sick, so I stopped taking it.

Did you use condoms when you stopped taking your pills? Neutral having gone through an abortion and knowing how your grandmother felt about you becoming pregnant again, why would you not protect yourself?

I think you should tell her as soon as possible. If she's unwilling to help you raise a baby, you need to know, so you can get your resources together. 9 months might sound like a long time, but it's really not. You need a stable place to raise your baby, and from the sound of things, your mom won't do and your grandmother might not be willing. If you want to keep this baby, the clock is ticking. Confused

i really agree with AyaMiyaki on this
you need to make sure your baby is ok. and 9 months is not a long tmae at all!

I used condoms half the time. Confused My boyfriend is planning on going into the marines in March, which is around the time I will be due. So I'm going to have to do something. I just really want to go to the doctor.

Well you definitely do need to go to the doctor. I still think you should tell your grandmother. Even if she's not happy with it, she will probably at least help you find a doctor.

Now that I think of it, she probably will. She is a nurse herself. I might tell her tomorrow when she gets home.
