you're the last married woman on Earth who isn't pregnant or hasn't had a baby?

Last night at a wedding, my dh and I found out that a couple we know are expecting a baby next February. After the congratulations and joy from the news, I started thinking about us. When we first started trying, I thought of all the other couples we knew who we either knew were trying or suspected of trying. With this last announcement, every one of them is now pregnant with one due any day. In addition, several other couples that I didn't think of have either had babies or are pregnant now.

I challenged my dh last night to think of any married couple in our circle of friends who isn't pregnant or hasn't had a kid. The only one he could come up with was the couple who got married yesterday. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they got pregnant before us.

What a great way to start my 2ww, huh? At least I'm getting my hair done today. That will help me feel better. (I've never gotten my hair done on my 2ww before. I suppose it won't matter if I'm 1 dpo.)

I do sometimes feel like that. I just look around and see all the preggo ladies out there and don't understand why I can't have the same joy.
We were the first of our friends to get married, so our friends are not at that stage yet. But I just found out that a couple that got married a few months after us just had a baby. Not Fair!!!

Hopefully we will both get our bfp's soon.

keep positive.

I FEEL LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME. IN MY CASE THE COUPLES I KNOW ARE JUST "TOGETHER" NOT MARRIED OR SEPARATED AND HAVE LIKE 3 KIDS ALREADY. MY DH NEVER GOT MARRIED WITH HIS EX AND SHE HAS 7 KIDS (ONLY 2 OF THEM ARE MY DHS) SO THAT PULLS ME DOWN EVERY TIME I HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF MY STE DAUGHTER. DONT FEEL LIKE UR THE ONLY 1 THAT FEELS THAT I THINK KNOWING THAT UR NOT ALONE HELPS AT LEAST A LITTLE BIT. RIGHT NOW I AM ON CD19 AND WAITING TO SEE WHAT THE END OF JULY TO SEE IF COMID WORKED OR NOT (FINGERS SUPER CROSSED)

GOOD LUCK

Hi,

I'm in the same boat. It doesn't help either when you get the dreaded question the second you get married...

"So, when are you guys going to have a baby?"

Thanks... it's always reassuring to know that I'm not the only one with discouraging thoughts.

I mind the accusation more than the question really, though it is very tiresome saying, "we're planning to have kids someday" and wondering if people are thinking, "tick tock." Because I'm having trouble getting pregnant, it makes my heart sink every time someone asks if I'm pregnant just because I'm not drinking. It actually makes me want to grab a beer or wine just to satisfy curiosities.
