Hi everybody,

This is my first post and im glad that we have a community that can embrace our medical concerns. I have experienced weight loss of almost 30 pounds after using Dexderine for my ADD.

The story goes like this:
I took the drug for a week and experienced rapid weight loss, though it was helping me with my inattentive symptoms. After I discontinued it for a week, my weight automaically was restored. There was the catch 22. Since I needed the help of the drug I continued taking for an extended period of time, that lasted roughly one month. I had lost 30 pounds, and my phsycial appearnace has altered dramtically. My friends are shocked and question me constantly, thinking I have problems I am not revealing.

The thing is the weight is no longer restoring, even when discontuing the drug. The doctor has said that once the drugs are out of your system you should be back to normal. Its been half a year, and not a thing has changed.

I knew my risks, took it, and this has resulted. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is anything I can do about this....do I continue to wait? Seek a specialist? Im so devestated.
