I posted a similar topic a few days ago but i dont know what happened...its gone...So, anyway. My last period was very weird. it came then went then came then went then came then went again. only one day it was sort of heavy the rest it was very very light, which is very weird for me. I am on the pill but i don't take it correctly during the summer. Lately my boyfriend and I have noticed my boobs are getting fuller and I am getting morning sickness and constipated (it is getting better lately though). is there a chance i could be pregnant or do you think this is from something else? should i take a test, if so, when? thanks so much, <3

If you are having sex, then of course there is a chance you could be pregnant! No method of birth control is 100% effective, so that means any time you have sex, you could get pregnant. However, if you're not even taking your pills like you're supposed to, then obviously that will increase your chances of getting pregnant.

You could try testing now. If you are negative, but still have the symptoms in a week or two, try testing again.

If you don't want to get pregnant, you'll have to take your pills every day at the same time, or not have sex, or switch to a form of birth control that does not require you to take something every day such as condoms, the patch, etc.

i plan on taking a test. im not exactly freaking out yet, just curious (i am a very curious person) I just wasnt sure when would be the best time and i guess im just sort of hoping my body tells me a bit more before i do test. i guess its an anxiety thing. im not like incredibly stressed. im almost 17, but i know even if i was pregnant i could tell my parents (well my mom anyway) and my boyfriend wouldnt mind. i have plenty of people to support me and i plan on keeping my life as close to normal as possible if i am pregnant. so im not sure if i want to be pregnant or not. i guess im okay with it either way. im completely in love with my boyfriend. so i guess that and the people who i know would help me all make it easier to think about. Its just like most of the other people who post here, im inexperienced and curious and anxious. so i feel the need to ask for advice.

Sometimes if all you think about is whether or you are pregnant you can actually trick your body into having pregnancy symptoms. There were a few times that I thought I might be pregnant and it was amazing how many pregnancy symptoms I had. The only way to know for sure is to take a test. If its negative then try again in a week. If your still in doubt then go and see your doctor for a blood test.
