hi, im 22, dont drink or smoke, am on the verge of being over weight, only by like a couple of pounds, and ive been taking the pill for 3 years. i had been going to the doctors because i suspected i had a kidney infection, i went last week and he gave me some antibiotics, and although the results said i did have puss in my urine he didnt think it was a bad case and the antibiotics should have cleared it up, although i am still getting very low back pain. however he took my bp, last week and said it was normal, i took it myself two days ago and yesterday and it was alot higher, he took it today and it was 150 over 95! he said he couldnt tell me whats wrong because he had never seen anybodys bp go that high in just one week! so he took some blood to check my kidneys, liver, thyroid and something else. and gave me some new antibiotics, yet he didnt give me anything for my blood pressure, now im scared because i dont have another appointment for one week and what if it continues to rise so rapidly?
i can feel my heart beating fasting even when im just sitting watching tv, even going up the stairs i feel hot and have a quickened heart rate. and i have spells of feeling shakey and my legs a bit wobbly. i dont know what to do, i dont think i can cope a whole week worrying about it even more, like this. and it certainly doesnt help matters!
does anyone know what could be wrong with me?am i in any immediate danger? im only 22 i shouldnt be having these problems!

Best of luck! I hope it turns out not to be something serious and that you don't have to take bp medication.

do remember that anything kidney related can affect your blood pressure. the infection is most likely causing it. your kidneys excrete all sorts of enzymes that affect everything from urination, to heart rate, to blood pressure, etc.
