Have you ever heard the term: Don't poo in your salad? You are probably way too young to understand this, so I'll try to put it in terms you might understand. If I were you, I'd not take a chance on hurting my own brother. He has been friends with this dude for a long time and now they are roommates. Yes, it would be weird and kinda gross to see your own sibling making out wiht your best friend. There are THOUSANDS of nice guys out there.....and some disease free...........so why take a chance on starting anything within your family. Blood is thicker than water. But, hey, this is just my opinion!

My brother just broke up with his gf who is my best friend. It is terribly awkward to be around them right now, as they have been together for 2 1/2 years. You might entertain the idea of other prospects for now. This can become a very complicated situation, and you are right, that might be really uncomfortable for your brother to watch/hear about/envision.

I'm actually dating my brothers close friend now..I met him about a year before my bro did because we worked together and were..well not friends more like acquaintances..someone just to talk to at work nothing more..then my bro got hired at the same place I did, I left for college for a year then came back to that job, they'd gotten real close and my bros friend had noticed some "changes" in me...haha, at first it was a NO..big no..TOO WEIRD..but he was persistant, i swear the guy would NOT give up on getting one date out of me..so i went just to humor him..had a good time, we clicked and now we've been together for over a year..my bro was so against it at first, made up stuff about me and told his friend, made up stuff about his friend and told me..but we ignored it, and now its actually kinda cool because it's brought me and my bro closer...i dunno, its working out for me so far
