Today is one week since my colonoscopy and removal of a small benign polyp. Today I noticed a small amount of blood and clear mucuous in my stool. It has happened twice this morning and my intestines feel bad at that particular time. Now I feel okay and so do my intestines. Should this be something I should be alarmed and call my Dr. thanks.

Go and tell your doctor. It would be different if you experienced bleeding a day later but this is a week and bleeding should not be occuring. It could be that you may have eaten something that could have aggrivated the colon like seeds or some kind of roughage. But it is best if you have your doctor check it out. Don't wait. Let us know what the results are. Good luck.
