A friend did a 24hr urine test for diabetes and was prescribe Metformin. He had been given a blood monitor a few weeks before this urine test and his reading were in the normal range. One question i have is, if not showing high on the monitor only in his urine, will he be able to monitor his own levels?

Why would it not show high on his monitor? we have a lot of research to do. His worst symptom is falling asleep after eating. Thanks for your time.
