Ok, so here's the deal. I was on one type of pill for over a year and I decided I needed to try something new, so I stopped taking it. I was off of it for 2 months and then started taking a new type of pill. The problem is I have been on the new type of pill for 2 months and I haven't had a period yet. Nor did I have a period during the time I was off of the pill completely. I know i'm not pregnant, but I just don't understand why i'm not having a normal period. I am spotting a little the week before i'm suppose to have my period, but then nothing during the week I should be having it. Also, if i'm not having my period does that mean the pill isn't actually working yet? I'm not sure what I should do. Thanks!

I have heard that the pill (certain ones) can lead some women to not have their periods. I do not know which pills, but I do know that this can happen to some women. This is more common with the shots. Make an appointment with your doctor, or talk to your pharmacist....Both will be able to answer your questions.

Good luck Smile
