I have suffered from a gagging cough now for 3 months. Went to an ENT who did an esophogram (negative); looked at my throat and larynx (possible LPR) ; and checked my ears (some congestion in right ear). The ENT prescribed Nexium , 40 mg twice a day before meals, and gave me nasonex. I continue to have ear pain and full feeling, sometimes the feeling goes down the sides of my face. I still gag at times but rarely vomit. This all happened after i had a cold with lots of throat clearing and greenies. I usually gag when the ears feel the fullest. Help!!
