Q: Babysitters..

Jon and I sometimes pay his little sister to watch the babies for awhile while we go out. I was just wondering how much you think is a good amount to pay for watching a 14 month old and 3 month old. Jon mom is there to help if she needs it though. We pay her $10/ hour. Does that sound like a good amount?

That definitely sounds good to me, especially since there is someone there if she needs help.

That sound extremely generous to me because I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and the highest I ever got paid to change adult diapers was 10/hour!

She's actually 17, but she doesn't have a job or anything. She usually watches them for 4 hours or so that's $40. She seems pretty happy with it.

It sounds fair to me. When I was babysitting I watched 4 kids by myself and it was for a good 5 to 7 hours and only got 20 bucks. And this was for a 2, 4, 6, and 9 year old. Talk about trouble.
