Hi everyone! My name is brandi and i'm 17..I started taking my birth control about a week ago and now i'm getting real bad headaches and my stomach hurts so bad I think i'm going to be sick I have also been bleeding for about 9 days now is this normal??? Anybody with advice or knows what I should do I would really appreciate it thanks

Hi brandi, unfortunantly this is the side effects of birth control. They will slow down and change after you have been on them for a while.

I never had those side effects. What birthcontrol are you taking? If it is the pill there are many different kinds out there you can use. I switched several times.

I'm on the pill...They gave me ortho tri cyclen.....Thanks for your help I really apprecaite it

If it becomes unbearable tell your doc and they will try to find something that agrees with you a lil better.

Did any of you guys have trouble getting pregnant when you came off the birth control??? I want kids one day and was wondering if this might affect it

Its different for everyone. Some girls it takes no time at all, like me, I had only been off of them for one month when I got pregnant with my second child. And I have heard of women taking up to a year.

I got pregnant 6 months after stopping the pill. I was also on ortho-tri-cycline.
