Q: Weird Injury Sensation In Knee

Hi, 2 weeks ago i fell over and i fell on my knees. they were sore afterwards but there was no skin tearing or grazing.
over the past 2 weeks the pain has been getting more and more frustrating, though i wouldn't say it was overly painFUL. it's more annoying than anything. i can walk (though i am limping a bit), i can bend my knee, but it's very stiff, it aches, it hurts whenever there is something touching the knee even very light fabric. i can't sleep with the blanket on my legs because it is so uncomfortable. the best way to describe it is it feels like bone aching.
the most annoying thing, however, is the sensation that there is something INSIDE the knee. like there's constant pressure or something wedged between the bone and cartlidge. it felt scratchy like sandpaper inside my knee.
any ideas? should i see a doctor? as i said, i can walk (with a limp) so i'm not urgently rushing to the doctor, but should i be worried?

The knees are so very fragile!

I'd recommend you see an orthopedist. These specialists will be able to help diagnose your condition...they've seen and studied so much more than we have!

Many things are possible: torn cartilage, broken bits of bone floating in the synovial fluid, stretched tendons. Oh my!

So, get thee to a doctor! Schedule soon.
