A little bit ago, while running, I pretty
much fainted. I lost my balance, couldn't
see straight (everything was blurry) or
hear but I never blacked out.
After seeing a cardiologist, they
recommended an MRI. I just found out about
the MRI results and apparently, I have a
large left ventrical.
I was wondering if anyone had any idea
what the hell this means? Are there any
restrictions? My cardiologist is out of
town for another week. I went for a 5 mile
run today and felt fine. This fainting
episode has only happened once although I
have noticed that there have been times I
feel the same initial feelings coming on.
I felt it coming on at the hospital and
while strapped to a heart rate monitor, my
HR dipped into the mid to high 30's during
that brief period.
Also, I don't know if it makes any
difference, but my resting heart rate is
42.

If you're a strong athlete, a heart rate
of 42 isn't unheard of, though still
unusual.
Any deformity of the heart can cause
issues. Obviously in your case it isn't
life threatening, so I wouldn't worry too
much.
