I had surgical menopause about a year ago. after the surgery I was put on hormone therapy via a patch. I gradually reduced my dose and then stopped to decrease my chances of developing complications associated with hormone replacement therapy. I have been completely off hormones for about three months, and thankfully, other than a few mild hot flashes I have been fine. Recently I have experienced uncomfortable hip and lower back pain. I had a bone density test about 9mo. ago and all was well .What could be causing the discomfort? I take a woman's multi vitamin daily. but no other suppliments. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
