I was told to never mix milk with formula.
I just gradually switch from formula to milk. . . during the day .Casey would get a milk bottle and then at night for bed he would get formula and it just got to the point where he didn't want the formula anymore.

in the states it is 12 months. could it be different in canada?

sarah, your pediatrician should discuss this with you. don't you go to regular well-baby visits? here we go at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months.

Once .oni had a milk cup, a week before her birthday...she refused her formula.

We were at her pawpaw's and he didn't have formula so I gave her milk. she *loved* it!!!!

Hopefully he'll like it too! I ,personally, think it tastes better than formula! lol!!

Do you not have health visitors over there? It must be different. Here we take babies to a weighing clinic every week or every other week, where their weight is recorded by health visitors and they always discuss with the mother how things are going, answer any questions you have about babies, and generally support you. I found it really helpful when jay was a baby. I think you can take them there until they are 2yrs old, maybe go less often once they reach 1yr.

Oni's dr. wanted to see her once a month.

Compared to others, that's very often.

WHen she made a year, he didn't want to see her again until she was 15 months. Which is odd for me! lol!
