Ava developed a red rash on her cheeks and under her bottom lip. It's little red bumps and I guess she scratched b/c she has a scab on one. I wonder if it's teething?? She's been .v.e.r.y cranky today!!!

I don't know what it might be (heat rash, maybe?) but I hope it clears up soon!

i dont think its teething, normally when they teeth they get a rash on their bottom because of extra acid in urin but thats about it..
could it be baby acne? heat rash? extra moisture on her face for too long? excema? it could be alot of differnt things... i hope it clears up soon thou rashes are no fun

Casey had gotten a little rash on his cheeks and the back of his neck. I noticed it happened when we used sun block on him. Ehhhh have you changed her lotion or has she eaten something she usually dosent eat ?!?!?!

this is what I figured out. Yesterday the electricity went out when it was naptime, so she took a 2 hour nap in the heat in her crib. When I went get her, she had a big drool stain on her sheets and was full of sweat. She has a little eczema on her elbows and calves. Either it made it flair up or it's a heat rash. She scratched it all night and cried hysterically from 5-6. I'm putting cetaphil cream on it and if it doesn't go away by Thursday, I'll take her to the dr. It's on her elbow too.

Has it cleared up any?

Sarah
