I have my first appointment tomorrow, I
find it kind of strange that it will be
with my GP not my midwife but I don't know
if thats how the NHS is working nowadays
in Scotland.
When I was there last week my Doctor asked
me to bring a urine sample with me and to
get a container from reception. I went to
reception and the woman made me give
sample at that time so she could send it
away. I thought the tests would be done
there and then on the urine like a
dipstick to test for protein etc?
So I think maybe the receptionist has got
mixed up and thought it was a pregnancy
test I needed on it maybe? Maybe I should
take another sample with me when I go just
in case.
I'm going to try and arrange for an
earlier scan, does anyone know when it
would stop being a transvaginal scan and
just a normal abdomen scan?
