Q: Post Wisdom Teeth Removal

A week ago, I had my wisdom teeth removed on the bottom. Everything went well and there was little pain. I recently started eating more whole things and I've noticed that a really horrible taste has developed on one of the sides of my mouth. This taste has made me very nauseous and has even led to me throwing up a few times. I've tried using mouthwash, and brushing my teeth repeatedly to try to get rid of this taste, but nothing seems to last very long. My mother says that there's probably food stuck somewhere. I've getting very frustrated with it and my follow-up appointment isn't until this coming Tuesday. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I could do to get rid of this taste? Or will I probably just have to wait until I can talk to the doctor about it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
