Q: Started Bc And It Won't Quit!

9 days ago, period started and last Sunday I started taking bc, first time. (Mircette) Well, the period is still going on my periods are usually gone by the 7th day. It's not heavy but its still present I'm wondering if this is normal.
(and no, I'm not pregnant)

That is considered breakthrough bleeding and/or spotting... As long as it's not heavy you'll be fine.

That is technically normal, and does happen the first 1-2 months a woman uses a new birth control pill.

You basically need to 'weather' it out.

i was on mircette and that happened to me also. one time i think my period lasted two weeks. my normal period lasted 7. thats why i changed to Yaz i was sick of my period lasting forever
