Sharp Pain In My Left Eye And Waters Alot With Headach Also Posted: 07-01-07 19:40pm
For the last 2 weeks i have been
experiencing headachs and then it leads to
a sharp pain in my left eye and im trying
to figure out wether this was a typical
migrane pain or something else. This has
been going on everyday and if lucky ill
get away with the pain and headach but
really less often. Sometimes ill wake up
in the morning and ill start feeling a
light pain in my head and eye then the
pain will start to increase and ill run
down to have a paracetamol and try to
sleep it off but its just too hard to go
back asleep becuase i have just woken up
from a nap. As im lying down the pain will
start trigger in my left eye and the side
of my head and this is where i really
start struggeling not knowing what to do
or where to put my head as i start
fidgeting in my bed sometimes with the
blanket over my face and then running to
the bathroom to wash my face i try curing
it. Eventually id lie back down in my bed
and my Left eye will start watering really
bad and i would just have to try me best
to sleep it off. And when i wake up again
im ok but wouldnt say 100% and then
sometimes it would happen again to me
outta the blue in the evening but i get
this alot when i wake up in the morning.
Can you please advice me what to do as i
am on 23 years old and shouldnt be
suffering like this becuase usually im
mentally and physically very strong.
Thank You!

It sounds like you might have cluster
headaches. My friend gets them pretty
bad. She told me that when she gets them
that it is only on one side of her head
and her eyes water and get swelled up and
puffy like. She also says that her nose
will start running on the same side. She
has always had issues with migraine
headaches. SHe says that sometimes she
will wake up in the morning or from a nap
and she will get the headaches.
She went to the doctor and they prescribed
her some pain killers and scheduled her to
go to the neurologist. She is going next
week. I will try to come back and let you
know what they said about them.
I would advise you to go to your doctor
and tell him about the headaches you are
having.
