I have been getting a sharp pain behind my left eye to where it makes me nauseous. My eye has started twitching when the pain gets worse. Even when I move my eye it sends a pain through my eye. I read some of the other stories and I'm not sure if mine is the same please let me know.

Extremely eHealthy
Welcome to .ehealth!

I'm sorry you've been experiencing this. How often does it happen? How long does it last when it does happen? Have you noticed any triggers ? (maybe exercise or long periods of concentration) Have you taken any meds for the pain? If so, have they helped?

I'm sorry for all the questions. I'm just trying to get a better picture.

It happens everyday I wake up with the headaches only with slight pain then as the day goes on it gets worse. When I exercise it does start throbbing and it keeps throbbing for about 3 hours afterward. I don't take any meds except for over the counter sinus medicine trying to get it to stop. It dulls the pain, but it never actually takes it 100% away.

Hi
You really should see your primary care physican and maybe a neurologist referred. You stated these headaches were continous, which is questionable. An MRI, MRA or CAT scan could maybe pinpoint any possible trouble area. Aneurysmsdo tend to run in families, strokes are hitting younger people these days.... Its always better to be safe than sorry. I am one of the lucky ones who survived a cerebral anuerysm. Anytime I hear of someone with headaches that are not being relieved from over the counter meds or presc. meds...its time to see the Doc! Hope you find relief! Cool
