I want to remove freckles from my face and a scar. Its a red sunken scar so I think collagen injections would help it. Am I right thinking my dentist can perform this and most importantly does anyone know how much roughly it will cost.

Hii Mrniceguy!!!
Quote:
Freckles are small tan spots of melanin on the skin of people with fair complexions...Having freckles is genetic and is related to the presence of the melanocortin-1 receptor MC1R gene variant, which is dominant. Freckling can also be triggered by long exposure to sunlight, such as suntanning. When the sun's rays penetrate the skin, they activate melanocytes which can cause freckles to become darker and more numerous, although the distribution of melanin is not the same. Fair hair such as blonde, or more commonly red hair, are usually common with the genetic factor of freckles, but none so much as fair or pale skin.

Freckles are predominantly found on the face, although they may appear on any skin exposed to the sun.

If you want to remove it , you have to do it in a specialised Dermatology Hospital, I would advise you to visit this site: [link removed] you will get all the information you are looking for.

I don't think that a dentist would be the most appropriate person to do this so think well before taking a step and be well-informed by specialist.
Good Luck!!
