This is a question for any of the girls who have had the mirena fitted..

Is it normal to bleed continuously for weeks after having it fitted? I had mine put it on the 25th .April; I started bleeding a week later, & I'm still bleeding now. It stopped for about 5 days at one point, but then started up again. It's not always heavy, but it's never completely gone. It's annoying because I feel like it's starting to rule my life.. & it's expensive buying tampons & pads every week.

Sad

It sucks even more right now because my tonsillitis has come back again, for the 5th time in about 6 weeks. My mood swings from the mirena aren't helping.. I end up crying all the time. Part of me just wants to get the mirena removed.. but I don't know if I should just give it a few more weeks to "settle".
