Q: 3 pregnancy tests ... 2 negative , 1 positive faint blue lin
asked by: DoctorQuestion on July 1st, 2007
I had my last period on the 17th of May and around June 7 I had brown discharge. I was nauseus for about 10 days straight from june 7th until June 17. Now, it comes and goes. My breast are tender on the outside sides as are my nipples. I have constipation and I am very gassy. I am also very tired. I had taken 3 pregnancy tests and 2 came up negative but one showed a positve line, except that the lain was a faint blue line. I don't know whether to trust the test or not or if my body has its hormones out of wack necause of the pills, I just don't know. Is it lmore likely that I am preganant or I just have the symptoms of being pregnant?

Current medical status: IN may I went to my gyno because I had break threough bleeding. I had my peiod from the last day of April until May 5 and then I Had my period again on the 17th of May.

Current medical treatment: My gyno said that it was pills and swihched them. She had me stop using my pills and prescribed me a new kind. I was not to start the new kind until it would have been time for me to start a fresh pack if I were to continue taking my usual kind which would be about two weeks from that appointment."

You can visit a gynecologist to confirm if you are pregnant or not. A gynecologst won’t use a home (urine) pregnancy test but a blood pregnancy test. Blood pregnancy tests are much more sensitive and reliable than urine-based pregnancy tests. An ultrasound examination can also help confirm or exclude pregnancy.
