Searching For Lorenz Implant Recipients

I just wanted to let you know that posting dr's names is not really a good thing to do. They have access to this information and they do go looking for it. just a heads up. Im not too informed on the lorenz implants. the only real way to see if it works is to try it. What works for one does not necessarily work for another. so dont loose hope---there is hope out there--you just have to find the answer.

hey I sent you a link to a place where I found a lot of info on the Lorenz implants and other surgeries in general. If it doesnt have what you are looking for you can always ask.

anyone else that needs info on a surgery or is considering surgery and wants more info on it Ill be glad to pm you the site. I found it rather helpful.

I read your blog just now. I noticed that you were facing your surgery in 2007. Wish I had my computer at that time as I to was facing the same surgery. I'm now one and a half years post surgery and am doing fairly well. I've had Tmj/tmd since 1972. Silastic implants were put in - in 1973. Then rib grafts in 1988. The ribs lasted almost 20yrs then were replaced with the lorenz implants. I am interested in talking with anyone facing this surgery or who has gone thru it. I would like to start an online support group for lorenz tmj implant recipients. I don't think there many of us out there!
