Q: Cin1 Without Hpv

hi there. Recently, on control pap test i was diagnosed with CIN1. Then my gynecologist told me that some extra examination should be done, so we can find out if I have HPV and what type. She told me that probably i have HPV. But then when the results came, they were negative, i don't have HPV. Is any of you experienced the same situation? I don't have any other infection or STD. Why I have CIN? What have caused it?

not too long ago i have gotten tested and the results came back with cin 1 n hpv negative but then again just like your doctor inform u,i was told hpv caused cin 1..i dont get it either..all they told me was there were cervical cell changes n that it would go away on its own..please help us!

CIN 1 without HPV

my pap smear came back with CIN 1 without HPV or any other disease - What is worth mentioning was I had a dead fetus at the time of the pap smear but no one knew that when it was taken...

CIN 1 without HPV

I was diagnosed with CIN 1 and had a negative Pap test result. All my Pap results have been negative in the past also. My doctor says I have HPV & wants me to start treatment with a cream. But I don't think I HPV. I have been with ONLY one partner, my husband for the past 14 yrs and he also has not had any partners excpet me. Is there a test for HPV? I'm very confused. Is there any other cause for CIN 1 besides HPV? Can someone help, please?
