hey everyone
I got a neck injury a year ago, three months later I got a headache which to this day hasn't gone. It's constant though if I focus the eyes it gets a lot worse. I've had to give up my career as a software developer.
I've seen eye specialists - they say my eyes are fine
I've seen neurologists - they give me pills that don't work and an MRI of my head that turned up nothing
I've seen physiotherapists, a chiropractor, an osteopath, an acupuncturist.
All without improvement to either my neck problem or my headaches.
I am searching for a neck specialist who could help me. I live in Reading, UK and I'm willing travel anywhere in the south.
Has anyone else suffered from anything like what I have?
Can anyone recommend me someone?

Thanks
Jack

I can't recommend anyone for you because I live in Florida, USA., but I can tell you that it sounds very similar to the herniated disk in my neck. The pain goes through the neck, head, jaw area, and even down the arms. I would suggest an orthopedic surgeon.

Wendyrs, you beat me with your post.

I does sound like a cervical spine problem. You need to see a spine specialist, either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines only.

You need an MRI of your cervical spine to start with, and then go from there with what the spine specialist suggests for treatment.
