Keeping Baby Occupied

Is there a toy you'd recommend to keep Ava occupied for me to cook/clean/sit for 5 minutes without going get her down the hall or sitting in the corner eating something she found on the floor. She's not interested in any of her toys or her jumperoo anymore. Jugs of water and cheerios keep her occupied for about 10 minutes, which is the most. What about a walker? Would you recommend it?

i am extremely anti-walkers. i've read some astounding statistics regarding them and injuries and i can't believe they're still on the market. it's not just stairs you need to be careful about, they can catch on things and tip over or they can roll up to counters and pull things down on top of them. i know a lot of people have them though, so it is up to you.

will she not play in her playpen or crib? i usually put finn in his crib with a bunch of toys and he'll play in there on his own for at least 30 minutes. if he's not having the toys, i'll give him baby safe household items like tupperware and cups.

She won't play in her crib and she'll only stay in her playpen for a few minutes then realizes that she's confined and wants to get out. I found that tupperware keeps her pretty happy for a little while.

mostly they like stuff that isnt theres, so giving her huosehold things that arent dangerous seems to work. jordynne loves the remote she will scoot herself to grab it if she sees it on the floor. the big plastic spoons too and a tupperware then she can make all sorts of noise, babies love making racket for some reason lol. maybe but a baby gate up by her room door and let her play in there maybe the somewhat freedom will occupy here ands he cant get into anything she isnt supposed to.
