Hello there,

I was just washing about around the groin, my hands touched the back of the scrotum so the testical were push a bit to the front, appearing more visible, and here i noticed something. There is something which i can't decide what it could be, on the front top of the left testical, it is not so small, however it you touch it looks more as a thick tube more than a ball or rounded thing.

I am familiar with the testical cancer, and i know how to do the self examination, but i don't think this is the place it should appear on.

What could this be? is it something serious going on there? or this is just the way and the structure of the testical?.

EDIT

In addition to what i have stated, i'd like to add that the thing i described is not like fixed in its place, it moves a bit around.

It could be a vein or another vessel.

There are tube like structures above the testicles. The epididymis and veins. They should be on both sides. However, if you find more on one side it may be a varicocele which is a varicose vein of the testicle. It's common and usually produces no symptoms. It can cause infertility, yet is the easiest form to reverse with surgery or embolization.

You should probably have a doctor take a look to be on the safe side.
