Q: Very Intense Abdominal Pain

My mother is 44. I am worried for her because she goes through intense abdominal pain each month. She also told me that she bleeds very heavily from her vagina, and she hasn't had period for many years. I have searched everywhere online and came to a conclusion that it might be hyperplasia, but I'm still not sure. As much as I begged her to go, she keeps putting off going to the doctor and tells me it will go away someday. I am not convinced. Can someone inform me on what it might be so I can search more about it and convince her to go see the doctor?

Abdominal pain could be a number of things. Does she have IBS or something? Has she gone through menopause yet?

Try not to stress too much. It could be something seriously, but it could also be something simple, like uterine fibroids.

She needs to go to the doctor. Work on getting that to happen.
